リリース

A press release has been issued by our research partner, Nippon Denko Co., Ltd.

Nippon Denko, in collaboration with Kansai University, has developed a vanadium dioxide (VO₂)-based latent heat storage material capable of withstanding the harsh temperature fluctuations of the space environment. This material features heat storage and release functions, achieving high performance through optimized transition temperature and response characteristics. Using this material, a new power supply temperature stabilization device for satellites has been developed. This device is expected to reduce power consumption during CubeSat operations and maintain the power supply within a stable temperature range, ensuring reliable power performance.
